What is it?

A crazy 25-minute group experience that guarantees to break the ice by creating unexpected connections!

Emoji is the language spoken by most people in the world. (Everyone with a smartphone at least. 🤓) But…do emoji really help us express ourselves more freely and precisely, or do our intentions end up getting lost in translation?

World premiere in June 2023 as an official selection of Tribeca Film Festival!

How does it work?

  1. The audience is guided to a secure website via their mobile browsers.
  2. Once the collective is ready, the investigation begins, playfully questioning our use of emoji as a stand-in for real life expression.
  3. As the various exercises build upon each other, the participants make surprising connections and discover new ways to express themselves.
